A group of eighth grade girls from Wapakoneta are stepping up against bullying and the destructive effects it has on their friends. They are selling bracelets that say "It isn't big to make others feel small".
Through this, they hope to bring this problem to light, starting with Cridersville Jamboree.
For Hannah Meeker, a newer type of bullying from the Internet called "cyber bullying" has affected her personally.
To help them with their cause, Miss Ohio Ellisa McCrackin paid a visit to the girls, talking about her platform on cyber bullying and advice for them on how to combat it.
The girls hope they can start to have impact on cyber bullying now and continue their efforts into high school next year.
