Allen County First Families Grow by 3

The number of people claiming to be relatives of early Allen County settlers has grown by three. The Allen County Genealogical Society hosted a special event to mark those added to the list of first families.

Chairman of First Families of Allen County, Chuck Brogee says this is the 36th time they've met to add members to their group.

Pamela Cady Funk and Joseph Edens have found through their research they are related to Samuel and Elizabeth Lippincott who lived in Bath township in 1835.     

Gloria Higbie found she is related to Jacob DeLong who lived in Shawnee township in 1835.
