Celina city council is tired of junk cars. So tired they're considering beefing up the ordinance against junk cars.
Junk cars can be found in several parts of the city, but there's one in particular that's been an on-going problem.
Several inoperable vehicles could be found outside the residence and on the property itself.
Neighbors have been complaining about the problem for the past several months.
Celina mayor Jeff Hazel says the new ordinance has stiffer penalties and tightens some of the loopholes in the current ordinance.
Celina city council has two more readings to go before the changes are passed....then there's a 30 day period after approval before the law could take effect.
