One person was hurt in a two vehicle accident this evening at the intersection of N. West street and Bluelick road and a factor may have been driver inattention.
According to a deputy at the scene, the male driver of a Honda was eastbound on Bluelick when he ran a red light.
He was then hit by a southbound pickup truck.
Nobody in the pickup truck was hurt.
The driver of the Honda was trapped in his vehicle for more than 20 minutes before crews from the American Township Fire Department could remove him from the vehicle.
The driver was taken to St. Rita's Medical Center.
His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Witnesses say they saw the driver talking on a cell phone just prior to the accident.
