
A great day for a motorcycle ride.
This group, leaving the Lima Harley Davidson dealership were helping out the West Ohio Food Bank in the annual Ride for Hunger. West Ohio Food Bank assistant director Tommie Harner says the money raised by today's ride will benefit the Backpack Program, an effort to feed school aged children in the area.
This was the third year for the ride for hunger.
Meanwhile, over at Camp Roberts, off Beeler Rd. more motorcyclists helping out a good cause.
This motorcycle run called the Ride of Hope is to help out the Lima Rescue Mission.
Executive director Chuck Ferguson says today's ride is to bring community awareness and to raise funds for the rescue mission and their day camp for kids at Camp Roberts.
This was the 7th year for the Ride of Hope.
