With sunny skies and comfortable Summer temperatures, the Tri-State Rib Festival kicked off its 9th annual Rhythm and Ribs event with music, barbecued food and ice cold drinks.
Celebrating nine years, Ottawa's Rhythm and Rib Festival brings in hundreds of hungry visitors, with a variety of vendors serving food with their own special blend of barbecue. Money raised at the event goes to support area youth events, something that is very important to Pork Brother's team member Bruce Soberg.
Living just a few miles down the road, in near-by Columbus Grove, Terry Giesige has been coming to the rib fest for the past 5-6 years. For Terry, the cars are the main attraction, although good food and a cold beverage isn't that bad either.
The rib fest will wraps up Saturday night around midnight with the sounds of live music and the smell of barbecue in the air.
