Wapa Theatre still showing Batman

Twelve people were killed, another 58 hurt after a lone gunman terrorized a Colorado theater early yesterday morning.

Despite that shooting...moviegoers continue to flock to see the new Batman flick believing the shooting to be an isolated incident.

John Pickrell and his two teenaged daughters wait for the 7 p-m showing of the new Batman movie at the Wapa Theatre in Wapakoneta. They drove over from Lima to see the show, despite the news about the mass killings at a Friday morning showing of the movie in Aurora, Colorado. Pickrell believes the shootings were an isolated incident.

His daughter 15 year old Heather Pickrell agrees and wasn't concerned for her safety while watching the Dark Knight Rises.

Wapa Theatre manager Becky Jordan was shocked when she first heard news of the shootings in Aurora.

Jordan says they have a video surveillance system set up in case something does happen and they've alerted their employees to look out for any suspicious behavior.
