Deadly Day in Sherwood Subdivision

Tragedy on Lima's west side after a man kills his daughter and estranged wife and then turns the gun on himself.

Allen County Sheriff Sam Krish says 45 year old Randy Glenn walked into the house of his estranged wife Carlin Glenn at 9 Beaumont Place just after four Thursday morning.

That's where they say he fatally shot his twenty year old daughter Andrea Glenn.  The investigation shows the mother then ran from the home and was shot and killed in the driveway of a home across the street.

Randy Glenn then returned to his home and killed himself with the same handgun.

Neighbors in the normally peaceful Sherwood Subdivision are still trying to come to grips with this double murder-suicide.

Several neighbors called in to 9-1-1 reporting they had heard shots.

Sheriff Crish says the investigation began with these calls and helped them focus quickly on what was going on.

Sheriff Crish says the shooter's seventeen year old son was also in the house at the time of the shooting but was not hurt.
