The St. James church, at the corner of Harrison and Franklin is in the process of being reborn thanks to the efforts of dozens of people from other churches who spent the day cleaning up the church, and ripping down walls in the basement.
For church trustee Bob Lewis, seeing so many people help leaves him grateful.

Jim Baker and the Men of Faith came up with the idea to help rebuild this church while on one of their monthly walks about three years ago.
