Children in Hardin County got a lesson in healthy living, while also having some fun outside.
OSU Extension received a grant from the federal government to conduct obesity research on three and four year olds in Hardin County. Organizers hope today will provide them with good feedback from kids and parents.
"Our hope is to find out what community strategies we can put in place that will help children and their families develop healthier eating habits," said Family and Consumer Science Extension Educator Kathy Oliver.
Hardin is one of two counties in Ohio where obesity research is taking place.
