Free School Supplies

Some Lima and Elida school students had a chance to load up on school supplies today thanks to a local church.

The line extended outside of Zion Lutheran Church this morning for the free school supply giveaway.

Kids were able to grab a book bag, get some notebook paper, pencils, glue and crayons all thanks to the effort by the child care center at the church.

This is the first year for the program.

Organizers hope they'll make it an annual event.
