A Lima man proves you can fight city hall and win.

Bar owner Tim Callahan was successful in reversing a proposal to eliminate some on-street parking near his business.

Callahan appealed a plan by the traffic commission to put in a bike path and eliminate parking across the street from his bar on E. Spring St. after Spring St. transitions from a one way to a two way street.

The traffic commission decided to cut off the bike path before it gets to his bar and keep parking on both sides of the street on Spring east of Main.
