Lima Ohio -
Police officers and firefighters in Lima rolled up their sleeves for the annual battle of the badges.
It's a friendly competition between the firefighters and law enforcement officers to see who can bring in the most donations. All donors are welcome and those who join the battle can vote for their favorite department. The battle of the badges contest is held each year to help the Red Cross maintain blood supplies during the summer, when donations typically slow down.
The goal for this years event is 150 pints.
