Hover Park Neighborhood Association and South Side Neighborhood Association came together to put on a National Night Out event for the whole community. For the first year, residents gathered for food, music and an inflatable for the kids.

Bringing the community together, both neighborhood associations also helped parents with back to school shopping, raffling off backpacks and other back to school essentials. With more than 150 people coming out for the national Night Out Event, the hope is to bring the event back next year.
