St. Marys council dealing with budget

Doing more with less.

Many Ohio municipalities are faced with that problem and St. Marys is no exception.

Monday night, St. Marys city council sent on to third reading the fiscal 2013 budget.

The 44 point 5 million dollar spending plan is about 1 point 5 million dollars less than this year.

City department heads were asked to come up with cuts to make the budget possible and they did without cuts in service or manpower.

Council will vote on the budget for a third and final reading at their next meeting.
