His job on this day, visiting patients at Lima Memorial Health System's Transitional Care Center.
The mini horse is a service animal...and visits with those in the hospital, helping to replace the pain and suffering of the patients with smiles, for at least a little while.
Mini Adventures Inc. out of Waynesfield brings the horses around to hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities as a type of pet therapy.
Mini Adventures is a non profit organization and relies on donations to help take care of the horses.
