CELINA, OHIO -
Questions still surround the cause of a trailer explosion that severely injured a man in Auglaize County in June.
Richard Eaton's motor home caught fire and exploded on June 15th. Now, he's recovering from the severe burns he received that night.
According to witnesses at Easy Campground, Eaton was blown right out of his motor home. Buckland and St. Marys Fire Departments responded to the scene. Eaton was Care Flighted to Miami Valley Hospital. He is now recovering at the Gardens of Celina Assisted Living Center. He says he remembers very little of that night.
Eaton was burned on his arms, leg, head, and ears. He says skin grafts from his legs were applied to his arms. To care for the burns, Eaton says bandages must be removed and his arms must be cleaned at least twice a day.
Buckland's fire chief says their part of the investigation is complete. However, the cause of the explosion remains undetermined.
