Lima Ohio -
Lima's skate park is going to be getting a facelift very soon.
The park has seen the effects of time and weather and is in need of some pretty extensive repairs.
Parents have expressed concerns over the condition of some of the equipment and fear there could be injuries if a quick fix-up isn't planned.
Park officials say they did some patching last November and a little more this spring, and have a more substantial make-over coming in the next two to three weeks.
Parks Director Ric Stolly says they have about four to five thousand dollars in materials ready to go for the work.
Stolly says this will be a time-consuming project and should mean some big improvements.
He says they have had great success with the skateboard park and are seeing more and more visitors each year.
