The Cridersville Fire Department puts one of it's old vehicles up for sale and replaces it with a new one.
The old 1978 GMC grass fire truck is now sitting in the village hall's parking lot with a for sale sign.
It's being replaced with a new grass truck the department designed. A normal new truck costs about $80,000, but because the department specially designed it they saved about $40,000.
The new truck gives firefighters peace of mind that when an emergency arises all the equipment is in good, working condition.
If the old truck doesn't sell before September 4 it goes to auction.
