The Blanchard River receiving a face lift on Saturday with the help of freshmen students from the University of Findlay, and the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership.
Holding their annual Summer River Clean Up, students and volunteers walked the edge of the Blanchard river, picking up trash and debris. River Clean Up events are something the Watershed Partnership holds 3 or 4 times a year. This year, 65 students volunteered their time, collecting dozens of trash bags, totaling up to a cleaner river.
