As part of this year's bicentennial celebration in Ft. Jennings, a group of re-enactors were camped out at the village park.
The men were representing soldiers from the 2nd Kentucky Volunteers.
It was that group that helped build a fort at Fort Jennings which was used to protect a major supply route to the troops fighting in the war of 1812.
Travis Wagner has been participating in these kind of events for the past decade.
He says the men of Fort Jennings had to face some rough conditions.
The celebration of Fort Jennings 200th birthday began on Friday and wrapped up Sunday.
