Around 8:20 last night deputies responded to a shots fired call in the area of the BP gas station on Robb and Cole Streets.  34 year old Marvin Thomas was found shot multiple times.  After surgery at St. Rita's he is listed in critical condition.

Witnesses say Thomas was playing cards with friends at the car corral car wash at 14-55 north Cole street when

A man identified as  20 year old Brandon Smith walked in and shot Thomas several times and then left.   If you have any information on smith's whereabouts call the sheriff's office at 419-227-3535.  The investigation continues.
