Tuesday night's main attraction at the Allen County Fair, taking place at the grand stands, with dozens of trucks competing in the annual truck pull. Students of the University of Northwestern Ohio hosted the events.
Trucks competing in the truck pull weighed in between 5,000 lbs and 8,500 lbs. Using all the horsepower under the hood, competitors compared trucks, burning rubber until only one competitor remained. Teresa Dunlap and her 12 member team use the truck pulls as bonding time, competing in a whose who battle of horsepower.
Making its debut at the Allen County Fair , a rock climb challenge, allowing competitors to make their way across loose rocks without going out of bounds. With only three competitors this year, event organizers hope the event catches on and more people sign up next year.
