With the November election quickly approaching, Lima Councilman Derry Glenn and volunteers are doing their part to inform residents of voting. Councilman Glenn is facilitating Lima's "Get Out the Vote" campaign as he believes this year's election is too important not to be informed. One problem Glenn hopes to address is early voting and its lack of support.
Glenn and a group of 25 volunteers plan to go door to door in Lima to inform the people about the up coming election. One major change from years past is that some of the wards have changed, leaving many voters clueless as to where they will vote.
Councilman Glenn says he and his volunteers will pick up residents who would like vote early. At no cost, residents can call starting Monday at 10 AM. The number to call is 419-905-9572.
