Schools Open motorists should be aware

It's back to school time with Lima City Schools starting classes last week and many more schools in the area start up this week.  

You may have seen buses like this one set up around town that point out that school is open and motorists should be careful around kids and buses.      

The AAA automobile club is responsible for the display.      

Local sales manager Cindy Nelson says motorists need to be more vigilant around school buses.  

It's estimated that 13 percent of America's 55 million school aged children will walk or bike to school this year.
