Lima, OH -
A car versus semi crash on Harding Highway had traffic at a standstill this (Monday) morning. Rescue was called after the eastbound car and westbound semi collided, the car ending up off the road just east of the fairgrounds. The car's driver was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital. Deputies say he was conscious when he was pulled from the car. There were no passengers. The truck driver was not hurt. The sheriff's office is still looking into what caused the crash and who may have gone left of center. A tire from the semi rolled more than a hundred feet across the road and dented a pickup truck parked in a driveway. The crash remains under investigation.
