It is a group of local minority leaders that formed more than a year ago and are now ready to make a difference in Lima-Allen County.
The "Equal Opportunity Minority Coalition" introduced themselves Tuesday at a noon news conference.
The group has identified five goals they would like to achieve.
One is building relationships, community education and awareness, utilization of federal and state funding, equal opportunities for minorities and unifying the minority community.
The group is working with Bradfield Community Center and Rhodes State College to achieve some of their goals.
White says the coalition plans to continue to meet once-a-month.
