A scary scene as a possible distracted driver ran into a school bus in Mercer County this morning. The St. Henry local school district bus was east bound on Ft. Recovery-Minster road and just starting its route when it was rear ended. The car then burst into flames, charring the bus at the same time. The bus driver and two students on the bus escaped without injury. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries but declined treatment. The St. Henry fire department and Mercer County sheriff responded to the scene. No mechanical problems were found with the bus and the exact cause remains under investigation.
