The 2012 Hardin County Fair is underway and promises six days of fun and excitement.
Although the midway was a little wet on Tuesday, it didn't keep fair goers away as they dodged off and on showers. Some of the highlights this year are the high school marching band show Tuesday night, swing choir show and society singers Wednesday night, harness racing on Thursday, and Phil Dirt & The Dozers performing Friday night.
Even though the Hardin County Fair is late in the season, fair officials say attendance is always good. It was veteran's day at the fair Tuesday and seniors citizens will be recognized on Friday.
The Hardin County Fair runs through Sunday.
