The former YWCA will be busy with shoppers for the next four days, as the American Association of University Women holds their annual book fair. Celebrating 50 years, AAUW members pack the facility with more than 50 thousand donated books, allowing residents to find affordable reading material. Over the years, book recycling has become a reoccurring process that is beneficial for the AAUW.
Money raised goes towards scholarships for area women getting ready to attend college. Last year, 12 individuals were awarded $1,000 scholarships. Those women now attend Ohio State University, Ohio Northern University, Bluffton University and other various colleges.
