A man convicted of calling in a bomb threat to Lima High School was in court today for sentencing.
Paul Miner Jr. was found guilty on one count of inducing panic, a felony. Because of the serious nature of the crime and Miner Jr.'s history of recidivism, Judge Richard Warren sentenced Miner Jr. to four years in prison. Lima City School Superintendent Jill Ackerman attended the hearing and agreed with Judge Warren's decision and hopes Miner Jr. can turn his life around.
Miner Jr. must also pay eighteen hundred five dollars in restitution and upon release from prison must serve three years of post release control.
