Lima Ohio -
The Lima community continues to remember Virginia Crouse, a noted philanthropist of the arts and faith community.
Crouse passed away yesterday at the age of 93.
Her kids describe her as a perfectionist. Someone who never wore blue jeans and always looked prim and proper. Virginia Crouse was an inspiration to the community and her family.
Besides her family, music and the arts is what kept Crouse going. Perhaps her most significant contribution to Lima was her leadership and financial donations to the Lima Civic and Convention Center.
Although Crouse was diagnosed with cancer a year ago, she still continued to help several organizations in the Lima community and the Bay View Michigan area. Crouse was surrounded by family when she lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday.
