Mercer County, Ohio -
A man found guilty of vehicular homicide in a Mercer County court is heading back to China.
Mercer County Prosecutor Andrew Hinders says federal immigration officials picked up Jinghao Xu from the county jail back on August 27th.
Investigators determined Xu was an illegal alien when he was convicted for causing the accident that claimed the life of three year old Aubrey Bruns of Minster back in October of last year.
Xu pulled out in front of the car driven by Hillary Hartings, killing Bruns and sending her brother and sister to the hospital.
The 51 year old Xu was a carpet layer who had been living in Hamilton, Ohio.
He was sentenced back in April to six months in the Mercer County Jail after pleading no contest.
His defense attorney filed a motion last week to have his client deported earlier than scheduled.
