The Lima Police Department is looking to the community for help in solving some north end burglaries.
There have been nearly a dozen residential burglaries in the area between Grand and Robb Avenues in the last two weeks. The police department has no leads but are asking residents to keep an eye out and report anything that seems unusual. Authorities say to be vigilant about locking doors and windows.
Items that have been stolen range from electronics, money, jewelry to anything they can get their hands on. Entry has been gained by forcing a door open or finding an unlocked entry point.
If you observe anything suspicious, call the L.P.D. at 419-227-4444.
