Fighting Lupus One Step at a Time

Early Saturday morning, dozens of people gathered to help raise money for research and to bring awareness to Lupus. Lupus is a long term autoimmune disorder that may affect the skin, joints, brain and other organs.

For the fourth year, Lima Memorial Health Systems holding a 5K walk/run to help raise money for those struggling with Lupus. Helping to raise spirits and give everyone that extra motivation, young Ali Wayman, who is currently battling Lupus herself.

Money raised goes the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, to help fund Lupus research.
