Hancock County -
Owen's College Alumni Association delivers backpacks and school supplies to children at Jacob's Primary School in Findlay.
They're able to do so through a community service endeavor called "backpack to the future."
Over the past three months, "Backpack to the Future" accepted gently used or new backpacks and school supplies to assist disadvantaged school children throughout Northwest Ohio.
More than 500 backpacks and 1000 school supplies collected throughout the summer are being donated to 15 elementary schools during September.
