Coldwater, Ohio -
Archery is nothing new, as hunting with a bow and arrow has been done for thousands of years. For younger generations, the sight of a bow and arrow in movies such as "The Hunger Games," has sparked an interest.
David Schmackers, of Coldwater, became interested in archery at a young age himself, after watching his neighbor shoot target after target. Now the owner of several bows, and an accurate marksman himself, David continues to shoot, even winning the Indoor World Championships earlier this year. Watching the sport grow with the help of younger generations is exciting news for David.
David continues to shoot targets in his back yard, as he hopes to make a trip to Las Vegas for an indoor spot target tournament.
