A Middle Point women is accused of causing a deadly crash in Van Wert County. Troopers say she was high after "huffing" from a can of compressed air.
According to the Van Wert post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a grand jury indicted 32 year old Lisa Hundley on two felony counts of aggravated vehicular homicide. Investigators say on August 5th, Hundley was driving with a suspended operator's license and had huffed compressed air. Troopers say she then caused a crash that resulted in the death of 90 year old Geneva Lambert of Middle Point.
Hundley also faces one count of child endangering for injuring a 13 year old passenger during the crash.
Gary Spridgeon of Middle Point was also indicted in the case. Troopers say he allowed Hundley to drive his vehicle that day. Spridgeon is charged with one count of wrongful entrustment.
The investigation into Lambert's death took a month to complete.
