Lima's efforts to improve traffic flow through the city will once again be changing a one way street to two way starting September 21st. Once the change takes effect, motorists will be able to drive in both directions between McDonel Street and Central Avenue. Lima city engineer Kirk Niemeyer says this is just one more step in a multi-year, multi-phase project to improve the traffic patterns within the city. Niemeyer also says that the reconstruction of West Elm street is progressing and should be opened to motorists by the end of October.
