Kenton City Schools and the Kenton Police Department are investigating what school officials are calling a hit list.
Two notes found in two different school buildings, have authorities concerned and looking for answers. Kenton Police Chief John Vermillion tells Your News Now that a note was found laying on a floor in Epsy Elementary school on Wednesday, just two days after a similar note was found at the middle school. Vermillion does not know if the two are related but they aren't taking any chances.
School officials sent a letter home to middle school parents yesterday, explaining what happened. Three juveniles have been identified and disciplinary actions are being taken through the school. Vermillion says the investigation is ongoing. With two notes being found in three days, in two different buildings, authorities can not take ay chances when it comes to the safety of the students and faculty.
Your News Now contacted the Espy Elementary School officials about the note found Wednesday, and at this time they were not willing to release any new information.
