LIMA, OHIO -
Four new police officers will soon patrol Lima's streets.
The new officers were sworn into duty at the end of August. They are finishing up in-house training at the department, and will soon begin 19 weeks of field officer training.
The new officers include Bluffton High School graduate Jason Rhodes, St. Henry graduate Bryce Garman, Ottawa-Glandorf graduate Matthew Boss, and Delphos Jefferson graduate Cory Noftz.
All four have previous law enforcement experience. The department also has a new communications operator. Marion Moening was appointed in April.
The new officers fill open positions lost through retirements and resignations.
