A meeting between the Lima Symphony Orchestra Board and conductor Crafton Beck could happen before the new symphony season starts.
Last night Lima Symphony Board President Steve Johnson told Your News Now that the board agreed to offer Beck an opportunity before the new orchestra season starts to meet with board representatives in an effort to resolve any differences.
Beck says board members called him today offering the chance to meet with the board and he says he would like to take them up on their offer.
Beck telling Your News Now that there has been so much said in recent weeks, he honestly doesn't know where the issues are with the board at this point.
Your News Now was shut out of the meeting last night, but members of the symphony and choirs attended the meeting and talk to the board about their decision not to bring beck back after this upcoming orchestra season.
Beck says the outpouring of support from the members and the community, shows just how important the symphony is to this area.
Beck hopes he can meet with the symphony board in the next couple of weeks.
