Lima Ohio -
New to the Lima area, the American Cancer Society holding its Making Strides event. The walk may be new to the area, but that would have been hard to tell with more than one thousand supporters coming out to honor those battling cancer and cancer survivors.
This year's goal was to raise 65 thousand dollars, and with more than 50 teams, representatives believe they will not have a problem reaching their goal.
Area residents used the time to honor those they love and lost, while working together to battle cancer.
