Trimming bushes, pulling weeds and staining a deck--ten members of Lima Central Catholic's class of 1972 gathered at the home of Paul Greene, a former teacher, coach and mentor.
Like so many others, Denny Kemper had Greene as a math teacher during his days at LCC. For Kemper, it was nice to give back to a man who dedicated his life to bettering the lives of others.
A teacher at LCC for 46 years, Greene gladly welcomed former students to his home. Greene was amazed with the work that his former students did, and believes their efforts say great things about them and Lima Central Catholic as a whole.
Helping clean up the property of her former teacher, Paula Beasley hopes to inspire other classes to do the same, and help out those teachers and coaches who help change lives.
Lima Central Catholic's graduating class of 1972 will gather in a formal setting Saturday night, when then celebrate 40 years.
