Lima's Civic Center was a beehive of activity Sunday as Allen county republicans prepare for Monday's visit by vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.
Work crews spent the day putting together the stage for Ryan's town hall style appearance Monday afternoon.
Republican volunteers meanwhile were painting the signs that will be displayed during the event.
Allen county republican party chair Keith Cheney says there's been a whirlwind of activity since they found out that Ryan was coming to Lima.
Doors open at 12:30 Monday afternoon.
The program is expected to start by 2:30.
Ryan is expected to speak at 3:10.
