Ohio State Highway Patrol seized $5,000 of liquid Codeine during a traffic stop in Hancock County.
Troopers stopped a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant on Interstate 75 near milepost 157 early Saturday morning at 12:43 a.m. A search of the car revealed approximately 2,230 milliliters of liquid Codeine and a small amount of marijuana located in the passenger compartment.
20-year-old Kenisha Williams and 21-year-old Je'ronn Hill were taken to Hancock County Justice Center.
If convicted they could face up to 18 months in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.
