16 inmates at Allen Oakwood's Correctional Institution were baptized on Saturday in front of fellow inmates. Proclaiming their faith, one by one, inmates gave a short speech before being fully submerged by Chaplain Charles Dupree.
As warden of the institution, John Coleman fully supports baptisms in the facility, calling the event life changing.
Even though only 16 men were baptized, dozens of other inmates gathered to support their fellow inmates who chose to turn their lives around.
