Apple Festival attracts thousands to Allen Co. Farm Park - Hometownstations.com-WLIO- Lima, OH News Weather Sports

Thousands of people took advantage of great weather to check out the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park Districts' Apple Festival out at the Allen County Farm Park.

In fact, organizers estimate that more than four thousand people came out to enjoy the festival on Saturday alone and they were expecting another four thousand today.

People could see how apple butter is made and even have a chance to buy some that was made at the event last year.

There were also activities for the whole family including hay rides and demonstrations by local artisans.
