It's off to jail for a Lima woman found guilty of calling in bomb threats.
Amanda Hunt was convicted of inducing panic and attempt to induce panic, both felonies. Judge Richard Warren sentenced hunt to a total of four years for her offences. Hunt read a statement in which she apologized for her crimes and showed remorse.
Judge Warren stated that because of the serious nature of the crimes and that it lead to copy cat threats, prison time was deserved. Jill Ackerman, Superintendent of Lima Area Schools approved of the sentence.
Hunt will be subject to three years of post release control upon her release from prison.
