School administrators typically share information about their schools through newsletters sent to homes in the district. Now one area school is sharing its message through internet blogs. New Bremen Middle School Principal Jason Schrader started a blog at the beginning of the school year.
So far, the focus of the blog has been to document school activities such as field trips and awards ceremonies. However, Schrader says the blog will also be used to keep parents informed about changes in teaching methods and to showcase how technology is incorporated into the classroom.
Schrader is new to the district, but he used blogs in his previous position with the Greenville School district. So far, the updates seem to be popular in New Bremen as well. The blog can be found at http://newbremenschools.blogspot.com/
